Women's Ministry

Our Heart

The goal of our Women’s Ministry is to encourage personal and spiritual growth through the study of God’s Word while ministering to women and equipping them to walk victoriously through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Women's Bible Study

From September through May, we offer a Women’s Bible Study which includes a time of small group discussion, worship, and a message by our pastor’s wife, Cathy Dickinson. The optional homework includes both inductive study and personal application. Messages and homework are available for streaming/downloading.

Biblical counseling is available to those who attend JRCF, as well as one-to-one discipleship. For more details, please contact the Church Office.

Cathy teaches Counseling with Compassion Seminars for church leadership and invites you to visit her website where you can find more information on this. You will also find information on her books Taming the Giants and Revelation and her teaching schedule.

Let The Journey Begin

a study in the book of Exodus

The goal of this study is to encourage the believer to travel this life in all that God has equipped her with, resisting the pitfalls experienced by Israel as recorded in Exodus. May you approach this study with a joyful expectation of our God whose desire for you is a future and a hope (Jer. 29:11). It is with a great love that He has invited you and has promised to travel with you all the way!

1st & 2nd  Timothy

Truly, the gospel is glorious. May your faith be strengthened as you study Paul's letter for those who would be faithful.

The book of Philippians is an epistle of joy and encouragement in the midst of adverse and unpredictable circumstances. It is a book that reminds us of what is available to all believers and how we can experience what God has provided for us.  Do you want joy?  Study Philippians. Do you want peace? Study Philippians. Do you want to walk in the victory of having the mind of Christ? Study Philippians. Do you want to know Jesus? Study Philippians. This little book of four chapters is packed with tools for victorious Christian living.

Gleanings of Grace

Gleanings can be defined as collections. As Cathy teaches one chapter from each book of the Bible, listeners can collect a deeper understanding of what God has said in His Word about Himself and about us.

When considering the book of Revelation, have you ever said, “I don’t understand it.  It’s just too scary. It doesn’t apply to my life.”? In contrast, Jesus said, “Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it.”

The book of Revelation is a love story, unveiling Jesus as the One who would rather save than judge. The events prophesied reveal the heart of God and His intentions to deliver His people to glory. It calls for more than interpretation or commentary. It calls for the reader to behold the character of God, and in so doing, experience a deeper knowledge and relationship with Him.

Taming the Giants

Do you struggle with overwhelming emotions? Does it seem like you experience more defeat than victory in the battle against the giants we all face? Taming the Giants will provide you with Biblical tools and insights to help strip the power from overwhelming emotions of:

Discouragement - Fear - Temptation - Guilt - Anger - Depression -

Jealousy - Worry - Ingratitude

This book is titled Taming the Giants – not defeating the giants and not smashing the Giants. Although these giants cannot be entirely slain this side of heaven, they can be tamed.

The enemy of our souls has no new tools, no new emotions to provoke in us than he did with Adam and Eve.  They are still very effective tools.  He will use them on us until we get to heaven. Then and only then will the war be over.  But we can walk in victory now as we face emotional giants.
